One of the biggest skills I got out of organic chemistry other than lecture content was a better understanding of glassware and laboratory techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While conducting lab experiments such as, recrystallization, extraction, TLC, distillation and others I had to prepare glassware set ups as seen below. This taught me valuable laboratory skills involving glassware as well as note taking, and data collecting skills.
